LE GRAND C
We gathered, at the request of the older generation, to follow, for a ways, the same path together. The idea being to mix generations and speak about out regression using the words that we have left, that speak to us. The laws of Bend and Jump, the need to take off and never come back down. To stand up tall when everything is collapsing all around.
Perhaps it serves no purpose, but that is how we exist, that is how we resist. The pleasure of being together, of not acting in order to suggest, to let the work emanate, work, work and still more work seeping from our pores. This is our earth, our cement, thanks to which a sum of individuals becomes a collective.
Upsetting the principles of the duo and reversing the male-female relationship recurrent in acrobatic feats, the 17 performers explore new directions in the use of the body, circus technique and overall in the ways through which they communicate with the audience.
Throughout the one-hour performance, a 360° universe made up of acrobatics, dance, music and huma pyramids is unveiled. A micro-society with its codes and surprising rituals, revealing, for those who are attentive, powerful and touching personalities, sensual, funny and poetic. So far and yet so near to us.
