The Association ORO is a non-profit organisation. It is the legal and administrative framework which takes care of the choreographic works of Loïc Touzé. Founded in 1991, it was first established in Aquitaine (1991-1995) then in the Ile de France (1996-1999) and in Brittany (2000-2009). Today it is developing its activities in the Pays de la Loire.
The association regularly receives financial help from public structures to assist in the creation and the performance of new work and in its educational role. Its influence is regional, national and international.
The projects of the Association ORO take many different forms: Choreographic pieces, performances, installations and publishing projects.
It is enriched by the presence of artists who work at the heart of the organisation, some of whom are long-term associates, others who contribute from time to time. They are all strongly involved in the actions of the association to which they contribute their research on the language of dance, sharing new information about the body and new forms of expression in order to encourage the circulation of dance culture in our society.
The association Oro is funded by the Ministère de la Culture - DRAC Pays de la Loire, the Région Pays de la Loire and the Town Council of Nantes.
